You can pin<\/em> messages \u2026 but I wouldn\u2019t say pinning a message has the result I\u2019d expect. First, how to do it. On any channel message, you can click the ellipsis to access a menu. Select \u201cPin\u201d.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll get a warning that the message will be pinned for everyone \u2026 sounds good, right? If you want everyone to read the rules of the Teams space or to read the \u201cNDA Applies To These Discussions\u201d notice, you want<\/em> the message pinned for everyone. Click \u201cPin\u201d to continue.<\/p>\n

Aaaand \u2026 everyone sees the message highlighted (and a little pin icon). The message is not, however, pinned to the bottom of the conversation list where everyone is sure to notice it. It is not displayed at the top of the current page where everyone is sure to notice it.<\/p>\n

But there is<\/em> a way to quickly view pinned messages in a channel. In the upper right-hand corner of the channel\u2019s conversation list, find the little info icon. It\u2019s the one you\u2019ve never noticed because it didn\u2019t do anything too useful \u2026 right next to the \u2018meet\u2019 button. Click it.<\/p>\n

Scroll past the \u2018About\u2019 and \u2018Members\u2019 section of the info, and you will see any pinned posts.<\/p>\n
